Bridget Wilkins
Bridget Wilkins
Psychosexual & Psychodynamic Couple Psychotherapist

Bridget is a specialist in sex and relationship therapy. She understands how daunting it can feel to explore private and vulnerable aspects of our lives, and offers a warm, neutral space where you can process what may have gone amiss in your relationship with compassion and curiosity.

Whether you are feeling stuck, or at a crisis point, or worried you might separate, Bridget will help you explore how to move forward, as it is always possible to improve the quality of your relationships, no matter how difficult or challenging.

Bridget is an intuitive therapist who has helped many couples and individuals navigate key life changes: shifts in career, growing families, illness, retirement and bereavement. These upheavals can affect our minds and bodies, our relationships and our sex lives.

To work more holistically with relationships, Bridget trained as both a Psychodynamic Couples and Individual Therapist, then completed further training as a Psychosexual Therapist. As such, she can tailor her approach to your unique concerns. She will help you learn to maintain your connection through life’s many upheavals, so that your relationship can become a source of nourishment and support.

Bridget trained and qualified at Tavistock Relationships, the internationally renowned clinic and training centre in London. In addition to her private practice, Bridget is co-lead on the Diploma in Psychosexual Therapy programme at Tavistock Relationships, as well as a lecturer and senior clinician. She is an accredited member of the College of Relationship and Sexual Therapists (COSRT) and a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).

Bridget is also a former BBC producer. In this work, she met many people who were deeply affected by life-altering events and found that the balm to these was always a human connection. Bridget knows how our personal relationships can impact our mental and physical well-being every day. She is dedicated to helping individuals and couples rediscover their relationship and sexual potential.

As an experienced specialist in relationship and psychosexual therapy, Bridget can help you clarify what is actually happening in your relationship and guide you to the life you really want.
